Our Mission

Elk Root Conservation Farm Society is a Columbia Basin-rooted movement demonstrating that equitably feeding community and protecting the environment go hand-in-hand. Through the ERC Reciprocity Model of certified organic agriculture, environmental conservation, and collaborative knowledge sharing guided by Indigenous wisdom, we alleviate food insecurity, champion food sovereignty for Indigenous peoples and inspire ecological stewardship.
